What is Sauce?

Sauces are just one of the many types of extracts out there. Generally speaking, Sauce is a more refined extract that touts the pure terpene essence of cannabis more heavily than other concentrates.

How is Sauce made?

The extract is placed in a container and left undisturbed for several weeks to months, allowing its crystals to form and terpenes to separate.

Sauce is produced by the THCa in an extract crashing out of the solution (the molecules of THCa line up and grow into crystals). As the THCa crystals grow on the bottom and sides of the container, the rest of the cannabinoids and terpenes are left in the liquid fraction. This remaining flavorful full-spectrum liquid is known as 'Sauce.'

What's unique about Sauce?

Generally speaking, the process of stabilizing sauces is more time-consuming when compared to other extracts. This, in large part, is due to the intention of getting as much of the THCA in the extract to crystallize and separate from the terpenes and other cannabinoids. The isolated cannabinoids paired with a high terpene count make Sauce distinctly different from other extracts. It’s lower levels of THCa but high levels of many other cannabinoids and terpenes makes it perfect to mix with distillate to make a full spectrum 100% cannabis-derived vape cart.

The Sauce gets its name because extracts often acquire their names from their texture, appearance, and color. This includes crumble, shatter, budder, badder, and honeycomb. The Sauce is no different.
